No Video Display Troubleshooting

Thread Starter
I took my PC apart to do some simple upgrade...put everything back together and now Im getting no video in either slot...Not really sure whats going on I made sure that the GPU was seated correctly...Whats usually the problem when you get no display ?

P.S I also didnt replace the paste on my CPU it was a bit dry after being out for a ffew days but I assumed it would be okay

Did you try the following:

- Clearing the CMOS
- Seating the RAM properly (should be 1 2 1 2 - Where 1 = Channel 1, and 2 = Channel 2)
- Is the 8pin connected

Are you able to get to the BIOS, or is it completely blank all the time?

What did you upgrade?
