Phenom II x 6 1055T can be a huge bottleneck. - Page 16

I recently made the jump from a 1055T to a 2500k, and I don't think I could be more satisfied with the upgrade.

It isn't.

There aren't any actual AM3+ out there yet and bulldozer is a G34b(?)
Type it with me... "z a m b e z i"

Same crap we saw with "AM2+" being labeled on hundreds of boards that would fail to power even with cmos hacks. I saw "AM3+" on a board with a 770 chipset already.

Keep in mind that many games won't even utilize dual GPU correctly yet let alone multi-core, intel is still getting wins from the 2duo configurations in that line of trouble.

All I gotta say is that Sandy Bridge smokes every Intel processor in their lineup except maybe the newest 990x. Of course you'll notice a big difference between it and Thuban. You better or the CEO of Intel better have his feet dangling over the top of his desk while he dangles by his neck from his ceiling fan.

few intel users are doing "pretty-damn-good" job here..

i advise you, send your curriculum vitae to intel headquarters , and probably you will get a job

I was able to quickly upgrade to sandy bridge wich btw only cost me 300, by selling my i9000 celly. So ya I prioritized wanting to get what I payed for I was willing to let my android go.

So next time before you jump to whatever dumbass conclusion you want and then talk **** maybe be polite and ask me first?

I got to say this community seems to be filled with alot of trollers looking for threads to talk **** on. No wonder the console kids hate PC gamers.

I spent 300 on upgrading to sandy and you think bulldozer would have been cheaper?lmao bulldozer is FX wich means bust out your bank loans buddy. I bet you here and now that bulldozer will not be under 300.lol that would have costed a ton more than my sandy. Christ do some research my man.
First of all where do you get off saying I'm talking trash, saying I don't know what I'm talking about, that I'm a dumbass and a troll? You don't even know me.

I've read this entire thread and so far you have called every single person who disagree's with you a "dumbass" and a "troll". I'm not sure if you know what a troll is because you are one of the only people I've seen trolling this thread so far.

You said in your first post that you "still love AMD" and "please don't flame i'm only trying to help people out." Yet you flame almost the first person that disagree's with you.

You are the keyboard warrior here not me. I didn't insult you or anything and you just reply back calling me a dumbass and a troll. If you weren't a troll then you would quote the persons post and make your statements on which of his points you disagree with and attempt to prove him wrong (like what I'm doing right now. Note that there are no insults in my post). But instead you rage on the person. You are the pure definition of what a troll is.

Second of all i made a valid point. You already had an AMD setup that was BD ready. If YOU had actually done some research (which you obviously didn't because if you did then you would have got SB in the first place rather then buy a PhII and SB shortly afterwards) then you would know that it has
already been stated multiple times throughout other threads on BD, and news sources as well as AMD stating themselves that BD will be competing DIRECTLY with SB meaning the prices will be set accordingly so they can compete. Were all the SB chips over 300dollers when they were released?? No they weren't so really you just pulled that price out of your a**.

I understand that SB is better then PhII and i would have gotten SB if it was out when i built my rig and frankly i don't care about this whole AMD vs Intel crap, i just care about what has the best bang for buck, and at the time i built my rig that was the PhII. Im not arguing that the PhII is better, my point is that buying a PhII system with a BD ready motherboard and then going out and getting a whole SB setup was not a smart move financially unless you sold off your old AMD setup for nearly the same price as brand new, because it would have been cheaper to just get BD. Simple as. And not only that but according to reports BD is expected to be 15-20% more powerful then SB.

But what do i know right? I'm just a "dumbass troll" like everybody in the world except people who agree with you.

I doubt THAT much though, do you mind posting your settings, including RAM ones?
RAEG.

Please. Explain why clock for clock comparisons matter with Sandybridge/Phenom II if they both have completely different overclock ceilings? If an overclocker buys a Phenom II setup, they're going to overclock as much as they can, which on average is around 4Ghz. If an overclocker buys a SB setup, they're not going to stop at 4Ghz, as they can overclock much higher.

Tired of seeing poor excuses from AMD Drones.

Its funny you say that and if im wrong you have my apologies bud. But you started of your post with declaring that I am crazy or something to that effect and then posted an immature youtube video of zoolander. So ya my first opinion instantly is your dumb for even having to go there. However like I said if im wrong then im wrong.

O yea, and dont over exagerate stuff by saying I flame everyone who disagrees with me. Thats BS I have said to plenty of Phenom guys that I see where they are coming from and I agree.

I am flaming people who use excuses like my 1080p res is too low for my setup and thats why I am seeing a bottleneck...No im seeing a bottleneck because of the hexacore I had. I replaced it and bam problemo fixed.

This thread was for those experiancing similar problems. I did not start bashing untill others did about how dumb I am for going the route I did.

So bulldozer will be out in the beg of summer and priced/performance will compete with current SB right? The why should I worry cause a few months after that Ivy will be out once again IMO AMD is late to the party.

Why do people feel the need to be so damn loyal to a company? Why cant everyone just pursue a performance state of mind rather than fanboyism? We would all benifit allot more by it.

I think you would know that answer already, most individuals do not have the ability to think objectively. More and more individuals think subjectively.
