Silent & Liquid n a middle tower. Help!

Thread Starter
Ho to all thi is my first post, I'm Italian and I want a noise free gaming station. I need to silent the machine 'cause is placed near the tv in the living room. What you suggest liquid cooling is a solution? Many radiators (2 or 3) and no fans are a good solution? The new vga coming is a Zotac 590 gtx. Do you have suggestions before I start searching and buying pieces?
Thanks to all!

RASA RX360 kit

Also put 3 Gentle typhoon-14s on the radiator in pull.

Yes. Turn the TV volume up some more.

On a more serious note, it will be difficult/expensive to make such a machine "silent." You really just want to aim for "quieter than the TV." That is, unless you watch the TV with the volume turned off.

My suggestion would be liquid cooling for your CPU/GPU. Use lower RPM fans with high static pressure. Don't worry about temperatures because lower noise = higher temperature. As long as you are lower temperature than stock air cooling (GTX 590 will hit over 80°C) then you are fine.

Yes thanks this is real! Watercooling the case is not forcing me to have a cool pc I just have to mantain the same temperature as air cooling but with the half of noise. Really a good thing. What kind of fans have good static pressure? Noctua's have it?

I'd choose a Thermalright HR-02 paired with a single TY-140 fan over water any day.

Noctuas are noisier than TY-140 despite their marketing.

How about we start with choosing the rest of the parts so we know what CPU we have to cool, and how much room the case has for a big CPU cooler or some radiators? kiwivda, what chassis did you have in mind?

Sincerely, I would not to change the case, because is noise shielded and it has the 2 holes in the back for the pipes of the radiator. The case is a sileo 500 from coolermaster, a middle tower. I would place the radiator with fans on the top or behind the case.

Thanks for suggesting me the TY-140 fan, is not only quieter than noctua, is also cheaper.

Concerning the cpu to mantain freshy, is the amd in the sign, and the vga is the 590 GTX by Zotac.
Do you think cooling the DDR is a good idea or before there are more important things to care about?
