Some say Corsair is better well let's take a look
http://www.corsair.com/power-supplie...er-supply.html

62A: 720 W

Nominal differences..

Anyway it might even be able run gtx 570 in SLI. I asked the retailer but he wasn't sure it might be just in or out of range of the psu. And I used different PSU calculators which said it would probably work.

So no in single card mode this PSU will have NO problems at all, (assuming it's a healthy one)

PSU calculators= crap
Judging a PSU based off of it's Amperage has it's limits too.

You're doing everything wrong...lol

As mentioned above, a psu consists of many parts that are used in unison to create a stable psu...and yeah read all about it in JG psu reviews.

You're on a website full of enthusiasts, chances are, we're more likely to be right...

U cant judge things because it has a number on it, the quality is what counts.

heck, a low wattage seasonic psu can out do your cooler master one by a long shot.

There are several things wrong:

1. OCCT without errors on a GF110 card means nothing unless you disable OCP.

2. Your PSU would have been enough if it could reliably deliver the 750W of power. It unfortunately cannot. The GX750 is a glorified 450W PSU, and no that is not enough to run a GTX570 reliably on.

Wattage and Amperage are important, but they mean absolutely nothing if they unit in question doesn't match up with the label.

Im sorry, your right I guess. I can't smell your an enthuisast maybe you were just a normal gamer with average knowledge like me.

I thought specs would tell you the lot you would needed to know. As I didn't believe they would create damaging psu's anno 2011.

At any rate I won't be overclocking my 570GTX anymore. If it fails again I don't have new garantee on the newly deliverd 570GTX right or not??

Anyway as for the PSU, is it really that common, or serious? Seems like they would recall it then not? And I can't exactly return the PSU, so yeah, and it wasn't cheap either... like 90 euro...So what can I do about it..? Seems like im stuck with it.

The GX-750 is a cheap PSU, compare it with any Cosair, Seasonic, other name brand, it is a cheap PSU and it shows. I'm sure under IDEAL circumstances the PSU can supply the rated power, but in practice it's just a crap PSU...

No if your GPU fails again, they will likely send it back to you with the same explanation, YOU NEED A NEW PSU.

Coolermaster has a decent 600 watt unit here. The unit does pretty well for stability and efficiency, doesn't get very loud, and... what? It's a 750 watt unit?

So the jonnyguru review says. That's also a difference with the 450W mentioned here.. It was also said he didn't got the final retail product, which according to coolermaster would perform better.

@ticklemeElmo

Are you saying that the powersupply part on the card wasn't defective on the card but made defective by my PSU?

Like I said at any rate I can't change it now... if I would change it for another it would have to be within 8 days, and those have passed.

Are you saying if my GPU would fail again I can send it back again? Because it's still 1 or 2 year garantee or however long it is?

If this is the case, I'll guess ill take a look at how it goes, if it doesn't fail it doesn't. if it fails again and I get RMA i'll buy a new PSU I guess

there are no regulation of power supplies.a company could claim a million watts on a 200 watt psu and no one but reviewers would be the wiser.there is no one who tests each and every psu to see if it can do what it claims on the label.yeah there is 80 plus who test efficiency but thats bout it.and they test at 25c.when has a high end pc case ever been 25c under load?.

I skimmed the review, it seems like it could output 600W which should be enough for your needs but

Doesn't sending it back cost you to the postage? Also some manufacturers will charge a diagnostic and shipping fee if you send back a card that isn't malfunctioning unit.

So yeah like you said 600W also shouldn't give my system trouble so it was either by overclocking or just a faulty card. Though I do have my processor overclocked in turbo mode from 3.5ghz to 4.7 ghz... Time will tell if it can handle it. I can always revert to stock.

I prime tested 8 hours without errors, though with prime you don't stress gpu at the same time.

If I send a defective unit back it doesn't cost me anything they refund the shipping costs, as long as there really is something wrong with it indeed.

But what I want to know just in case is, what if a component dies twice under warranty? Let's say the card dies within 4 weeks and the next card dies within 16 weeks after that. Will you have warranty on the second one? Because I have 24 months warranty, so it should right? Or do they think like you used warranty when you got replacement, so now you are without.?

Honestly I doubt my clocks were the reason, the voltage wasn't high, and temp never exceeded 75 degrees.
The cooler master PSU's are crappy. I had a 650gx and the thing was a piece of garbage. If you read some reviews w/ stress tests, the cooler master gx PSUs use 2-4 year old hardware and can't even handle their spec'd wattage.
