I just threw mine out cuz I didn't want to be bothered with selling and shipping it and I didn't have an interest in cutting it open in order to remove the pump and modding it...

Good luck trying to open it up! I tried and the best thing it has is the build. Only way to open it up was to destroy the acrylic. No matter what I tried, no way of cracking it open without destroying something along the way.

@ joe2004 - Are you sure it was from Hong Kong? Are you in the US? If so, it should have come from their Texas distribution center. If not, they paid a pretty penny to get you the replacement.

XSPC ships out their stuff from Hong Kong as far as I can tell - they sent me the RS240 kit for evaluation and it came via UPS from Hong Kong. That's where their manufacturing center is and international shipping doesn't cost THAT much so I can totally see them sending replacement parts from there as well.

I do not doubt that but my replacement came from their DC in Texas... UNLESS... my situation was an isolated circumstance but the return address was XSPC as the sender and it was from Texas. On the shipping cost, I agree. I ordered some LED's for my Jeep and they came from HK. Cost $3. Ordered additional from the US and it cost me about $11!!!!!!!

EDIT: I'll check at lunch when I go home. I may still have the box. Now I am intrigued.

My replacement that I got last year came from overseas - even had the customs slip on the package.

I know about that... I am a US Customs Broker myself and I make those kinds of entries.

Even my job follows me into my hobby...

My pump was replaced because the pump outlet was cracked, but it still works. I have it in a second computer that is being cooled by a modded h50 with two rads along with the pump/res assisting it.
