Cannot increase CPU voltage without stability issues

when i raise my CPU voltage even slightly, the motherboard doesnt boot, it goes on a reboot loop. I figured this out by changing one thing at a time until I isolated the CPU voltage as the cause. I can raise every other voltage with no problem. the CPU is an i5 750 on a H55M-UD2H motherboard and my psu is 750w.
