This attitude the devs are taking are really going to kill PC hardware sales.

This quote is so depressing to me: "Our graphics work centers around doing things that will look the same regardless of platform, and sometimes that implementation will be different on the 360, PS3, and PC."

High end are 10x as powerful as the outdated consoles on the market, I just can't believe that new PC games are being developed to "look the same regardless of platform" when one platform has 256mb of RAM total, while many gamers' PCs are sitting with a GPU that has 8 times the RAM of an entire console system.

So they can't make the PC version a piece of art and try to emulate it on console? I realize that some games don't work to make the PC version very nommy, graphically speaking, but I've never had any major issue with Elderscrolls. Heck, I've got Oblivion thru Nights of the Nine on my DX10 system. And other than the Paper trees in DX10(or is it 9?, ), I can't find much wrong with the game. I have it maxxed out with Bloom enabled. All the grass and everything. Looks pretty sick. Can't wait to see what they do for us With Styrgrim.

That was your choice, developers aren't responsible for maxing your hardware, they're responsible for making a game that will reach the widest audience given a specific amount of development time and money, and hopefully making it a fun game as well.
