38mm fans for h70 with same screws?

hi, i'm looking to replace the h70 stock fans with this:

http://ncix.com/products/?sku=26744&...facture=Scythe

but i understand the screws from the h70 are 25mm fans screws, and the fans i'm trying to replace with is 38mm thick... can i use the same screws on the 38mm fan?

ps. what're people's opinion on that fan, what are the other options? i don't care about noise even though i prefer them low if the performance of the fans are good.

thanks

What I did was take 2 screws from one of my case fans and used those for the second fan.

I used to use the 2000 rpm UK fans in push/pull for my H50. They did a great job but it was too loud for me. The 3000s should do well - noise aside.

As to the screws, I use 25mm shrouds with the corsair screws used to attatch the shroud to the rad (one screw in opposite corners) and then used ordinary fan screws to mount the UK to the shroud, using the other corners.

Worked well.

can i just screw in the 38mm fans as if they are 25mm? the screws from the stock 25mm fans should fit in the 38mm right?

I have those exact fans they are really really loud but do an xe ellent job cooling my h70.

The stock screws don't fit. What i did was get smaller screws and just put them through the mounts that are against the rad.

Keep in mind the amount of space they take up inside as well. I was not able fit them inside as there was not enough room between the reaer exhaust mount on my haf 922 and the big nb heatsink on my mobo.

Sorry, as cavallino said, they wont fit. All I can suggest is either longer screws or use shrouds, as described above.
