Man this thread got messy, time to make it messier...

Lying is good for business? Well duh, but only true in the short run. The point is that lying is unethical and will only come back to hurt you. It's going to be obvious to the gamers when they get their hands on the finished game that they have been lied to. Do you really think gamers are going to listen to another word that dev says anymore? It's one thing that they scammed us out of some money one time, but we will still be here when they have to release their next game.
Not to add more fuel on the fire, but the argument that consoles are hurting PC games should have been resolved years ago. Consoles are here to stay and developers are more likely to abandon PCs then consoles at this point. The fault now for these poorly developed games falls on guess who, the developer of course.
Consoles have been around and are going to be around for a while. If devs haven't they should adapt a method so that they can make quality games for each platform. It's going to take time and maybe one or two games for developers that were primarily on PC to be able to allocate the resources needed to make quality games on all platforms.
