Firefox 4 hardware acceleration cause sluggish screen updates when folding

Just thought I would let everyone be aware.
Ever since I upgraded to Firefox 4, my screen becomes very sluggish when GPU folding with nVidia GPU.
As soon as I quite firefox 4, screen refresh is back to normal.
I've then disable the hardware acceleration from within firefox 4, and everything is smooth again.

To disable hardware acceleration in Firefox 4, click on the Firefox logo to launch the menu, click on options. Go to the advanced tab and uncheck "use hardware acceleration when available".

My system is Windows 7 x64, nVidia driver 266.58

Do you mean your whole screen, or just the Firefox window? I wonder if this happens with other browsers. That's pretty retart

I have acceleration disabled because the text is unreadable.

The whole screen is sluggish, even if Firefox is minimized.

Same for IE9 and Chrome (can't remember which version it started with). Just turn off GPU acceleration and you're good to go.

Interesting, as I have no problem with Chrome using hardware acceleration.
