Blank Screen problem with 6950

Thread Starter
Well I bought a new XFX 6950 2GB. I first uninstall the Nvidia drivers and then reboot and installed the ati drivers. So crysis 2 loads and plays but crysis 1 on load the screen goes blank like the is no input and 3dMark Vantage sometimes does the same thing and other times just freezes. I have tried re-installing the Nvidia card and then uninstalling and using Driver Sweeper in Safe Mode but still have the same problem. I have been messing with it for the past 3 hours and still nothing. I use 11.2 , 11.3 and even 11.4p but nothing. The last thing I want to do is reformat but if it is needed then whatever, I just want it to work without problems. Do you guys got any idea whats wrong?

possibly overclock instability, whatever you have overclocked, you should try everything at stock.
