The lettering on the Deck's annoy me a bit... but awesome regardless. Those headphones are beautiful.

Deck users, did you guys get the linear or tactile switches? Trying to decide b/t the two.

I'll be mostly using it for typing, and a game of SC2 here and there.

I got the tactile keys (Frost to be exact) and I love it and do not regret getting it at all. Perfectly fine for gaming and absolutely wonderful for typing. Go tactile!

Congrats OP on your board, I'm with BG I got mine I think about a day after him, and I love it, best keyboard I've used. The only hang I have about it, is nothing else will compare to me now.....heh.

Did you get the PS/2 or USB cable? Is there any difference in using a PS/2 adapter w/ the USB one? So I can use it w/ USB as well for more flexibility?

Only difference is N-Key roll over versus 6 key. I got the usb and haven't had any issues in any game I've played. The Deck will not work with a PS/2 adapter, however if it's going to be an issue order the PS/2 board, then later on if you want the usb version it's as simple as taking the screws out of the bottom, swapping the cable around and snipping a resistor with a pair of clips. Easy peasy.

Personally at this point in time, in my opinion, it's pretty pointless to order a non-usb version. There will be nothing out there that you need to press 6 keys + modifiers at the same time. Plus you can use it on any computer.

Where and for how much did you purchase these?
EDIT: Saw that they are ~$175 on Deck's site. Way out of budget. Too bad, seemed really good - esp. backlit!

ty ty..
well it may seem expensive (ok it is) you gotta look at the long run.. this keyboard is like a heavy industrial grade keyboard in material terms.. i believe this will last for long long time so to me its well worth it, no regrets.
