what is making it do this? - Page 2

People that go all rage quit like this tend to get ignored. I kinda skimmed by and i felt kind of bugged.

(not here to make you feel bad but you need to know)
What you needed to do was explain everything in the first post and not post so many ones for the same thing, there is also a preview post button that can help you organize the post, and an Edit button too. It's frowned upon(or against ToS) to BUMP your own Post within 24 hours(you didn't quite do so i think).

The help/clarification:

1] what computers are you getting this issue with?
2]both old and newer cards?
3]did you try cleaning up your drivers before upgrading?
4]what are your temperatures?
5]what have you done to troubleshoot
6] are you overclocked anywhere?

Edit: wow a lot of post so far. ignore half of my questions. save and Reset your overclock settings to default dude

do you have another psu that you can try, its possible that your gfx card isn't getting the quality power it needs.

11.2 drivers the 11.1's were worse i uninstalled and used driversweeper that did not help either but when i got the card 11.1 worked and 11.2 worked when i first got them and everything but crysis wars worked fine. 3dmark11 and Vantage started doing that last week or so.

I hope thats not it lol, but i guess its possible i mean its a rosewill 1000w

yeah it started sometime after 11.2

sorry again lol

Brotip: use the quote option lol

I used to have strange artifacts with my raidmax PSU.
i somehow doubt this is your case (you said you had it on a different pc right?). But if its possible to check on a different PSU, do so.

This. Anoyyyying to read all ur 1 line posts.

Anyways... Have you went to stock setting on your CPU? It seams as though its not the GPU... which is wierd because it should be directly related. Have you tried your current GPU in the other comp?

Does the game freeze durring the problem? Or do you still hear everything fine. If so, then it could be your monitor? Not supporting heavy gaming... how old is it? what brand?

No the game doesnt freeze everything works fine except the multicolored stuff. i just went back to stock and pulled the cmos i think my cpu may be remotly dead. it wont run or boot on anything less than 1.45v def my fault shouldnt have oc'd on my old AC 64 Pro. I have not put my 6970 in another pc yet because the other card that use to do it (my old 4890) is in my sisters computer running like it should. It's my board, my processor, or my PSU. It cant be the mem i just bought it last week and it still did it on my old mem.

Its a Dell 19" not widescreen but is LCD and it worked great except in crysis wars. it's done this in crysis wars for months the other stuff just started recently
