Ruh oh, I see one of those cheap 4+1 power phase design with no heatsinks on it
I recommend you step down to stock until you can get some proper cooling on there

It's a safety issue; read dark red link in sig for more info

This. 4+1= Death.

Don't see why everyone's being mean to him for having 9500gt, everyone has to start somewhere!

But seriously, the 9500GT will struggle with modern games.

But you'll learn about that and much more when you hang out on overclock.net.

Good luck!

4+1 is the amount of phases the board has. If your planning on buying a new board and overclocking I suggest you read xd_1771's guide http://www.overclock.net/amd-cpus/94...hy-choose.html

I recommend you purchase from
http://pccasegear.com/

This site has very good deals and is the best site for Australians. It's the newegg of the ozzies.

Now, keep your motherboard at the moment, just put the CPU back to stock. 3.8ghz is asking for trouble on a low end board like yours.

Now with your 9500GT.

Depends on budget. Keep in mind anything over the price of $75 will beat it 10 fold in performance.

Just finished reading it, That is a great guide. You managed to make something that would have seemed hi-tec for me rather easy to understand

Isn't there a difference between crappy 4+1, and a decent quality 4+1 phase?

Well, yes, there is. You said it. Quality. And then cooling. To OC you need cooling on those. You are literally playing with fire there =P
