Some of that and some of this.
That update will never come for Crysis 2 since the textures aren't the only things that are wack.
The whole console feel to it is the problem, so unless there will be a mod that makes it play like the real Crysis with a functional nano suit and proper MAXIMUM STRENGTH it will forever be Crysis½.

I had a ton of issues when I installed the game and tried to play online. Their so called "workarounds" did work but I cant stand online play because of the massive amount of bs in almost every game. I thought Homefront was bad for cheaters but this is probably the worst I ever seen.
