I am running a 2500 with a ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7. For various reasons I am considering upgrading to a P67 (mainly coax output and better onboard sound.)

A bonus would be if I could overclock. I bought this cooler because it is quiet.

At idle the lowest the PWM spins the fan is around 800 rpm, I average 35-40C idle temps. This is with all CPU power savings on.

Under load (linX) the temps reach around 73C with the cooler fan spinning mthe max 2000rpm.

If I get a P67 I might get a K version and overclock to 4.2ish, stock voltage/speed step/C sates.

Is it safe to assume that without changing any voltage settings from stock that this cooler would maintain the max 73C underload at 4.2ghz? Or would I have to get a better cooler/add fans?
