I think it's time for a new phone

Hey everyone

For a longtime now I've had a Nokia N70 and it's served me well as keeping to the tradition of the unbreakable Nokia. However as time goes on I've found that I am carrying more stuff around with me than I need. For instance the other day I was at Uni and I was carrying around my MP3 Player, My phone, Work Phone, Wallet, Keys, and Camera. While I was talking to a friend about this he said "Why not just grab a Smart Phone?"

Now I've mostly stayed away from this area of technology mostly because it didn't interest me all that much, and being busy it's hard to keep up with technology, but such is life.

I was wondering if the great people of OCN could help me out picking out a new phone. I just need one with a great camera, can substitute as an MP3 player and most importantly is available in Australia

I have considered the Iphone 4 but I don't like the idea of my money going to Steve Jobs So I guess I am pretty much limited to the Android Market.

Anyway thank you very much in advance

Kind Regards

Callen

To be honest, it's hard to beat the iPhone when it comes down to all the things that you're looking for. The iPhone also comes with a good camera. While I dislike the iPhone as well, but it's hard to deny that it does what it does, well.

Look at some Android phones, look at reviews on Youtube.
But you will have a hard time trying to beat the iPhone when it comes down to it's camera aspect.

I was afraid someone would say that Thanks anyway mate +rep

I'll have a look around at the Android Phones but I did have a quick look at the Samsung Galaxy S and the HTC Desire HD as they seem to be the ones everyone is buying. I did prefer the HTC out of the two, so it looks likes like it's either that or the Iphone 4.

Yeah, lol.

But I really like HTC devices. I would give them a look. Though I do have a Samsung Captivate. I love it. It's great. But HTC devices look amazing

It is, but it's quite dated from todays standards.

Very much so. It's also a pain because waiting 8 Seconds to access my contacts is very annoying
