Wi-Fi only works in safe mode?

Thread Starter
My moms laptop won't connect and run Wi-Fi when running normally.

I have to get it in safe mode for it to connect.

And now it's even stopping to connect in safe mode.

I've installed the drivers again and the problem remains?

Spyware or faulty hardware?

This could be the cause of an infection. when you boot into safe mode windows only loads the things that it needs (hence not loading the infection) sand that could be why it only works in safe mode.
