BIOS only detect one of my two HDD's - Page 2

From what I can tell it's a 350watt psu labeled and marketed as a 550 or 565 (depending on where you get the info). Bascially, it's a piece of junk PSU so it's not surprising in the least. My advice is to replace that thing as soon as possible with a GOOD PSU. See the Power Supply forum here at OCN for assistance on getting a good one. Look at the Recommended PSU list there as well.

Thanks for the advice.
Is it really THAT bad? It's been working without any problems for more than two years now.(Except for the HDD not getting power of course).
Of course I trust your advice and I'll look for a new one. (I've wanted a modular PSU for a while now anyway).

Edit:
One other thing I've noticed (but never really cared about) is that when I start the computer after it's been completely cut off from power for a few hours (I always completely turn off the power in my room with a switch when I leave) it turns on for about 3sec, switches itself off for 2 sec and then turns on again and stays on. In short: Push power button --> stays on for 3sec --> off for 2 sec --> stays on. Could my PSU also be causing this? It's started since i've OC'ed my CPU.

(Sorry for any vague or bad English, im just a 17 y.o. Dutch guy xD)

Gigabyte EP45 boards do this all the time. I forget exactly what it means, since it's been a couple of years since I had one, though I think it has something to do with an unstable OC.

That start, stop, start again is normal for just about all Gigabyte boards. It's known as the Gigabyte Shuffle or Stutter. IT has something to do with the dual bios from what I understand.

One thing you might try is go into the bios, go to the Advanced screen, then go to the Delay for Hard drives setting. Try setting that to between 2 and 10 seconds to give the system more time to get the drives spinning at their proper rpm before they are detected. Normally you only need to do that if you have a lot of hard drives like I have (5 at the moment, but I normally have 6), but with a weaker PSU you might need it with only two. It's worth playing around with if you have the time and the inclination.
