Steam Guard? or April Fools?

Thread Starter
What is this Steam Guard that just popped up on my Steam account?

I've never seen it, and a news and PC section search didn't find anything. Any new item that didn't get promoted by steam, is probably april fools. lol but maybe not. I'm very cautious with everything today.

What you guys think?

It's legit, and thankfully so. I've been wanting something like it for a while with Steam. If someone tries to log in with your credentials on an unknown computer, it will prompt the user for a code that gets emailed to you. The only way a person can get around this is to also have access to your email.

I feel the same way about today, OP. I feel you man.

I'm apprehensive about everything I read today, and I find that annoying.

take care of that PC once and your set. I'd rather have the security personally corky, but I see ur point.
