Phantom doesn't have a window and I think it looks strangely cheap, can you tell me if you have seen one and prove it doesn't feel/look cheap?

I seen the red one in person and it feels good quality but I kinda hate the plastic look.

I am actually very much in favor of the route you're taking, as I have typically done the opposite with poor results. I usually splurge on hardware and get a budget case, which I just end up taking the side panel off of because the airflow sucks.

I just upgraded from a Raidmax Smilodon (lol) to a NZXT Phantom and it's like night and day. The build quality of the phantom, overall room inside, cable management, and bells and whistles are fantastic. I would HIGHLY recommend this case if you want something very eyecatching with all the features, and at a pretty reasonable price compared to other cases in the same league. (I picked a white one up on newegg for 120$ 2 days ago so they do go on sale, but theyre only 140$ at full price.)

Also check out this thread to see some gorgeous Phantom builds that OCN users have come up with. This post in particular shows off a nicely organised interior with NZXT sleeved cables. Also the Phantom uses a mesh for the side panel, but if you're dead set on acrylic several members have modded their Phantoms with great success.

Would also HIGHLY recommend splurging on a modular PSU. So much of a headache messing with all the extra cables...

Good Luck
The build quality is top notch. Paint is nice and thick/glossy. All the plastic parts are very high quality, it has built in fan controls on the top, etc.

Wow I never thought it was going to be this hard, I suppose revising what I need the computer for.

.Music (60Gb)
.Gaming (WoW)
.Firewire (Stanton FS)
.Graphic Design
.Ability to expand/Mod/Watercool and experiment (lots of space and compatability)
.Asteticly pleasing (window ,door and handy things like fan control and compartments like the colossus)
.Quietness isn't much of an issue but it wouldn't hurt to want?
.Don't know weather this matters but it would probably be on carpet?
.Budget of about £150 or $200
.If I can pick one up second hand?
.Futureproof (I'm planning on sticking with the same case for a while)
.Fairly noob friendly (first time build, I will make sure i properly plan though)
.Avaliabilty of spare parts and customer service (obvious really)
.Performance etc
.Preferably metal over plastic (it won't be getting moved around much)
.Black please

The options -
Silverstone Raven 2 (RV02)
NXZT Phantom
BitFenix Colossus with Window

If you read all this I thank you hugely and again thanks so much to all the people who have already posted, it's nice to get a decent response even if OP is an aspiring first-timer :3

1. You cannot WC with a Raven 2, I REPEAT: YOU CANNOT WC WITH A RAVEN 2! so scratch that off.

Just get the Phantom, best bang-for-buck full tower out there. and the Colossus is kinda ugly and cheap so Phantom it is.

Get the 650D. Much more functional and pretty than the Phantom.

In terms of straight features, colossus is the clear winner here, and I personally like the look a lot more than phantom. Don't know what you mean by "cheap" as the colossus (full version) my buddy got feels absolutely mint. That coating they use makes the case look and feel a lot more expensive than it is. Really the pictures don't do it justice. I've seen both cases in person (the phantom at the store) and the build quality of colossus is much better.

But hey, good luck on your build!

You are suggesting a case nearly double the price with nearly the same features? Get out.

Oh and the OP also stated he wants a FULL tower.
