on my old card these work wonders, but with the new one, it works fine until i get to the log in screen, then all i get is a black screen at what ever resolution i have it set to.... another dead card?

Can you try your new card alone?

If it fails as well, I would suspect your new card is dead.

that was by it self, the new card works until you get to the log in screen for windows then nothing but a black screen, with the old card it works perfectly

I'd say you got a bad card then

I'm guessing they might have sent you the same one

no it is not the same one, the compactor that was blown off the other one is on this one

You should then contact your store or whoever you RMA'd the card with, and ask them to replace it again, for a working card.

ok, now i am confused, just for fun i decided to set it up for Folding, and this thing will fold like crazy, even overclocked, perfectly, but as soon as you launch a game you get the lines and flickering.....
