Crysis 2 Problems

Thread Starter
Hey guys. Im having problems with crysis 2, now ive been reading and it says that it has flicker problems and i am wondering if that is what i am experiencing. Here is what happens, I will be playing crysis 2 for a few minutes (around 10) and all of the sudden the screen will go black (but i will still hear sound) and it will come back a few seconds later. Is this a tempature issue? im lost... or is this just a problem that everyone has?... could it be a driver issue? anyways.. all input will be greatly appreciated.

I had something similar happen to me with an Nvidia driver that kept crashing randomly and recovering (same blackness, but sound, then recovery). Are your graphics drivers up to date? If they are can you roll them back and test to see if that fixes it? And what temps are you getting?

Yes my drivers are up to date, and my temps are around 70c on the gpu and 70-76c on my cpu.

Windows event viewer doesnt detect anything.. .. and the driver doesn't crash...the screen just goes black and puts me back into the game.
