I haven't played Dead Space yet, but Bulletstorm uses very innovative skillshot mechanics that make the game incredibly fun, because you are using the environment to defeat your opponents. If you are a self described UT person, Bulletstorm is a no brainer, it was made on UT3 engine and there's a lot of shooting.

Deadspace looks nothing like UT it looks like a boring Doom3 mod in 3d person to me.
I'll have to play it first to make a fair comparison though.

Yeah, it's even somewhat easy on the level past Normal, but the hardest one is the one that gives you a good challenge .

I don't game on hard on autosave based games, unless I feel like playing the same place 100 times over.

Do any of you guys play DS2 with a mouse? It feels unplayable with a mouse to me. The sensitivity settings don't go low enough for me. I tried to edit the settings text to no avail. I use a ms 3.0, that might have something to do with it.

I play with an Xbox 360 controller for PC, but I'm sure any controller will be fine. A Logitech Rumplepad 2 is a great, yet cheap PC game controller that would be good for DS2.

As much as people here seemed to not like Bulletstorm I just finished it (got a downloadable copy for $20 so it was easily worth it) and I liked it a lot. Story is very linear but I liked the characters and the story itself. For gameplay, on the PC at least, it seemed pretty easy. Sometimes it felt a bit dummed down so that even towards the end of the game it would tell you when you need to crouch and what key to press, as well as what key to press to jump over certain objects. Combat was pretty different and I liked it. The point system implemented to update weapons and buy ammo lead to some cool different ways to kill. Offline was pretty boring, at least what I played. Team of 4 people who need to reach a certain amount of points with a limited amount of enemies. After a certain point unless everyone works really well together and knows what they are doing it won't work at all.

Been playing dead space 2 for hte last few days. this game is awesome. i cant seem to turn it off. the levels are intense for the most part. towards the later chapters im in chapter ten you start having to be smarter about ammo usage. it is the best game i have played in awhile. you should get this game for sure. the other game looks cheesy from every thing ive read and heard.
side note
to get the best usage of game, turn all the lights off be in a dark room, 5.1 surround, huge screen.
