Best thermal paste for a phenom II? - Page 3

BUT the AS5 is pretty good too..
I love my AS5, no complaints what so ever

IC Diamond is the best but it's expensive.

Shin Etsu is also really good but not available everywhere.

Your best bet might be the MX-4 from Newegg.

MX-4 is what I use and it dropped my temps by about 3 degrees when I changed the generic TIM on the H50 (Which is quite good, some Shin Etsu).

So though it looks like a large difference, < 3 cel difference from as5 to indigo xtreme, and < 2 cel from shin etsu

I'll save the money and take the couple cel increase for using as5

You get over 3x more TIM for only 2x the price
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-150-080-02%23

Shin Etsu is .3 cc

AS5 is 1cc

I used AS5 all the time but last couple of weeks went with MX-3 and MX-4 both those are about equal and a couple of degrees better than AS5, they have no cure time either
