Random OC question!

Before I ask any questions here is my overclock:
Attachment 203273

My main concern I have is temps. Right now I have an H50 and at max load it will go up to 54c Core. I'd love to get it to 4Ghz solid. I have tried ramping the voltage up to 1.500v with the x19 multiplier and my core temp soared to 63c full load.

So my question is, if I use a mix of the FSB instead of just the multiplier will that allow me to lower the cpu voltage?

I'd also love to get 2800Mhz NB when going at 4.0Ghz but I am terrified of this motherboards NB temp (usually about the same at the cpu temp if not a little more).

Try rearranging the tubes of your H50
Apparently this reduced the temps a lot of someone I know just by moving it around in such a way that the water flowed better...

Alrighty, I'll give that a go and see what happens

Exhaust or intake? Reseat? Ambient? And answer for Ur question. For me the mixing between multi and fsb lowered the volts needed and derfor lower temps. Think it was almost .04v difference.

H50 is currently exhaust with push/pull, 2 Yate Loons running at 1500rpm max. I have reseated my H50 and CPU a few times and actually just Lapped my CPU today. My ambient room temp is usually around 70F.

Try to run the H50 fans as an intake, motherboards give off a good amount of heat. Especially if your pushing the N/B. This should lower the temps a bit. i had my 2nd 120mm. in my loop running as exhaust at first, changed it to intake and lowered temps by 4c under load and about the same at idle.

I have a HAF932 and I have no idea where to put it as intake without screwing up the air flow in the case
