Hey OCN,

i've decided that now my car is almost finished being built (b16a powered CRX) im going back to my first project for upgrades.

On the list is a new GPU -> CPU -> RAM in this order

Phenom II 955BE @ 3.82Ghz
MSI 790fx-GD70
Kingston HyperX 1500mhz 4Gb
Inno3d GTX 280

Now im looking for a GPU that i can crossfire later so would look to spend around $300-$400 now for a good card that i can crossfire later (about 3-6months time) in the mean time i'll be looking at a AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition CPU and RAM im not sure as yet.

So basically i want to keep the GTX as a physX card only aswell I also game on a 42" LCD

Go for an unlocked 6950 crossfire IMO. Pick up one (reference) 6950 now, unlock it into a 6970, and pick up the second one down the road.

Extremely powerful setup, and the total investment is only about ~500 (each card about ~250).

Edit: Prices quoted in USD.
