6950 x2 crossfire... + 4770?

Hi all, I have 2 6950s in crossfire right now, and gonna flash them to 6970s soon. I got an HD4770 lying around though, and I'm using the p8p67 ws revolution so I can stick in a third graphics card. Am I able to do trifire with it?

No, you can't, you'd need another HD6950 to do so. Your options for adding more cards would be:

1. Adding another 6950 for Tri-Fire
2. Adding x2 HD6950 more for Quad-Fire
3. Adding a HD6990 together with those x2 6950 and make a quad-fire.
4. Flash both of your 6950's to 6970's and add another 6970 for Tri-Fire.

So no, you can't use that HD4770 at all.

Oh ok, just wondering. 2x 6970s is enough anyway, thanks.
