In need of a new 775 motherboard - Page 2

ya if i had to choose i would definetly go for the Asus P5k it looks like a good board and ive had several asus boards and have had nothing but good experiences with asus

*Edit* U ninja edited ur post lol

The msi board looks pretty good to. I agree the ddr3 support is nice but it could go both ways tho. Its nice to have but op might have to pick up new memory along with it.

Ive actually got a few asus p5s in my room right now one going into a mmorpg rig for a friend and the other i just pencil modded and am getting ready to put it under dice

I just ordered a BNIB Intel D945PLNM.

Is it a half decent board? For 20 bucks you can't go wrong I guess.

It's ancient and has no overclocking ability, not a very good board. One of the 40.00 asrocks would have been fine, and a lot better, but for 20 bucks hey why not.

I may just turn this one into an HTPC then and buy a better board for overclocking. With the price of 775 components, I wouldn't mind building a few of these. lol
