Making new high end build, component aid/review needed

Thread Starter
My old computer is dieing a slow death. It was never fast but always reliable. Luckly I've been saving for about the past year now to build my self a new one, I have around $2200 to spend on a new high end rig and I need to start from the basics. Here is what i've speced out so far.

CPU: Intel Core i7-2600K
Case: AZZA Hurrican 2000
Video card: Radeon HD 6990(Need some help with which brand i should go for Or should i go with Nvidia if I plan on SLI/Crossfire in the future always heard SLI had some major problems)
PSU: CORSAIR 750W (May step up to 1KW for Crossfire/ SLI)
Memory: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB)
Hard drives: 2 WD Caviar Black 500Gb SATA 6 (I have slightly Older OcZ SSD 32 GB if I'm correct, planning to run it as a boot drive.)
Keyboard: Microsoft SIDEWINDER X4
Monitor: ASUS VW246H Glossy Black 24" 2ms
Mouse: Microsoft SideWinder X8
CPU Cooler: CM Hyper 212 With extra fan for Push Pull (Any need for another Thermal past?)
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate

I'm personaly thrown when I comes to the motherboard and just can't find one with all the features i want. Hopeing for 2 fan headers for the Hyper 212, USB headers for the Case and the abilitys to maybe run two 6990's in CF in the future. Oh and of course it must support OCing so has to be a P67. (also any recomendations for a good disk drive would be great)

Any help givein help me get this rig perfect would be a huge help. I'm willing to learn.

Thanks.
