New build..plug it in..turn it on and...nothing..

I got nothing... parts
p67a-ud4-b3 gigabyte mb
2500k processor
16 gigs g.skill ram
corsair 750 modular psu
ati radeon 5770 gpu
intel 80 gb ssd
samsung 1 tb spinpoint hd
Cm Scout case.

This thing looked awesome!! I get everything connected, double and triple checked. Plug it in, turn on the juice and nothing... no beeps no lights nothing. I use my corsair 850 w psu from my current computer..and still nothing...I reseated everything....nothing.... the thing that gets me is there are no lights that light up, no beeps..no hint of any power at all... I check the stand offs and they are fine..the board is not touching anything that could cause it to short out..... My guess.... the motherboard needs to RMA'd...unless I am missing something... I currently have it out and want to hook the psu up to it to so if it works outside the case....but I am not sure exactly how do it properly... any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

Yep RMA the mobo. If anything else was causing a problem the mobo would turn on and give you a beep code.

Edit:Make sure the cables are truly in. They sometimes feel like they are put are still sometimes out.

You sure you have power to the outlet your plugging into? and sure the switch on the PSU is on? Have you double checked the power button wires in your case to make sure they are hooked appropriately to your MB ?

Though I know you said you double and triple checked everything, are you sure you have the 8pin CPU power plugged in? This is usually one of the things that even the most experienced builder can forget from time to time.

Gotta love the quick trigger RMA's.... wouldnt want anyone to actually troubleshoot something themselves. Most of this is user error. Its easy to do so hurts nothing to double check connections and such. Lets not RMA it just yet. Lets make sure all our 'bases' are covered first.

Instead of making sure he has the power button wires connected properly he should use tweezers to short the two power pins.
