Yep, runs just fine, if I clock to 900 MHz and 2300 MHz mem I get some coil whine but runs great at 850 and 2200 at 3.9ghz

why would people say that it wont double the noise? it would only make sense that it would. but it wont double the decibels.

around every 3db is double the noise, so you would be seeing a 3db increase if it was only your gfx card.

counting all your fans and noise makers i would say that it would be a 1.5 - 2 db increase from your setup without the extra 580.
