Oh yes...

Was irresponsible statement but zero effect as..

AMD will not FAIL but will go from strength to strength over next couple of years, better late than never.

Also some people, other threads, should stop speculating over announcements they can't know anything about..

So some guy got fired..there could be a thousand reasons why that is...photographed frolicking with local cheerleaders while naked..or the football team! Maybe he was the reason bulldozer was not out earlier and stifled it. A personal problem maybe? But how in the world people can claim the demise of a company of AMFs stature and size on one man is ridiculous. I'm sure there would be hundreds of examples to debunk this out there.

Exactly my point..i didn't even take any notice!

Interested in the science and not the politics.

I love all the banter but some people go a bit crazy, stay off the caffeine, lol.

Don't mind the troll,he's here cause Intel's paying him to switch users from AMD to the overhyped SB(which will become a super expensive enthusiast platform,GL on upgrades!)

Oh well this ' fanboy' was going to build i7-2600k I thought the specs were fantastic. But AMD were overdue a big innovation so I am holding out.

I go with whoever is the leader, which is NOT the action of a ' fanboy'.

Sandy Bridge is an excellent bit of kit, hell if there had been a 6 or 8 core I may have a new Rig already!

Right late in UK. Fill out my other profile thingamjigs (technical term) tomorrow peoples lol

I'm not denying anything, SB is indeed fast, but some users have become obvious fanboys over their precious CPU .

Of course, you work for intel,so you must've gotten it for free?
You've already bashed BD on what little info is out for it,so that is moot.

Nah I got it used for $185.

I'm not bashing BD, I'm simply stating core level HT splitting resources doesn't sound the the greatest way to go about things as a gamer. All I'm doing is stating my opinion, it's only trolling and bashing because my opinions don't match yours.
