Is this a Worth-while upgrade?

I just obtained enough $$ to get this:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814127519

I currently have this:
http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/514s0jXwBDL.jpg
A PNY 1GB GTS 250 XLR8.

I play on a 20" LCD (1600x900) and am hoping to get a bit more FPS, DX11, better temps, and better efficiency.
How much better do you think the 460 is than what I have now?

If you just got $150 and were in my position, would you go for it?

The GTX 460 is a fantastic card for gaming mate. The price point is great, they run fairly cool, pump out good performance and overclock like a beast.

I'd say go for it, you'll notice a substancial improvement over your 250 and on that res the 460 will be able to handle just about any game out there.

You cant go wrong with an upgrade to a Gtx 460, especially that MSI one. You hear so many good reviews about that card!

A 460 > sli 250s, so the difference would be substantial, not even counting DX11.

GTX460's are perfect for a person in your situation.

Preferably get a 1GB version as the 768mb ones start to choke past 1680X1050..

BTW: The Twin Frozer ones run nice and cool.

Well considering my max res is 1600x900, and I have JUST enough for that Twin Frozr II, I just got that one :]
