cheaper than Newegg?

Thread Starter
I configured an AMD rig on Newegg, but I wanted to know, if there are any other sites that sell for cheaper than Newegg (must have high quality AMD products and is in USA)...

I don't want some cheap HTML coded site either... rolleyes.gif

I usually compare prices between tigerdirect and newegg. Their base prices are usually similar, but they'll each have different components on sale. Also, Mmmmbaato makes a good suggestion. Microcenter has some really good prices, but it's usually in-store only.

theres alot of other places...but its hard to beat the egg. but it is smart to shop around.also if you list the parts,we could help you shop for the best prices.

Hell buddy...just shop around...

What I generally do is go to Newegg and plan the build with all the components and then shop around for everything for the best price. Ewiz.com normally beats Newegg's prices on a lot of things and especially when they put out their new coupon codes. The best part is that you can create multiple accounts to order things using their coupon codes because they normally have a max like 15% off up to $15. So if you order something that's $100+, it's best to only order that one item and then create a new account and order something else up to $100+ and then rinse and repeat.

Also, keep in mind that you can use other websites like mrebates.com for a % cashback as well.

Mwave.com normally has some pretty good daily deals but it's really hit of miss.

From there, Slickdeals.net is the best place to go. You can pretty much search for anything in the "Hot Deals" section to see if there's a good deal on something you need.

Using these stores and other online homefronts, I've managed to keep myself from buying anything from Newegg for about 4 years now and haven't been happier biggrin.gif

Actually, it's rather easy to beat the egg. The only thing newegg really has going for it my tastes is that they have a large selection of RAM. Everything else, you can generally find elsewhere and most times cheaper.

If Newegg charges you sales tax, then go to Amazon; if not, buy from Newegg.
(In Cali we buy from Amazon for this reason)
