2500K Power saving features

Thread Starter
Hi Folk,
Playing around with my new SB build and hit 4.5Ghz (awaiting new cooler before going higher).
When i was OC'ing i had all the powersaving features off. Do you generally run with them on for daily use or find the down clocking noticable?

I tend to leave all those power savings on (not just speedstep). Saves energy when not needed.

Same, I leave them all on. As most people with SB do.

Yeah i keep them enabled on my 2600k , Apparently can lead to HDD and SSD problems with them off as per Asus OCing guide. I had them disabled for a good few weeks while i was doing some voltage reduction on my current OC and did notice my response time was sluggish on both drives. I would also get random disk checks before OS boot. With them enabled this has not happened.
