(Not trying to hijack your thread OP)
Like OP said explore your bios and mobo settings to see what options you really have as far as pushing FSB as far as you can as this also OC's your RAM, and I have had more problems with RAM OC'ing than anything else, it tends to be more tempermental. I have heard here more than once that many times Lower ram speeds and lower clocks can be preferable to fast ram with slower clocks..You may want to start by adding voltage to vcore, cpu voltage (or whatever its called on your MOBO) and your CPU-NB voltage to get you over the BSOD bump, as most often I have found at least for me they seem to arise of a lack of voltage to either.. but BE CAREFUL, just because its advertised as being overclock capable doesnt mean it can handle it! Make sure to check manufacturer suggested voltages and such, but of course you can usually stray a ways from those, but just to be safe.. Had a huge post before but then read back through and realized OP covered most of it already! That'll teach me to post without reading everything
Keep up the good work!
to the OP,
thank you for taking the time to do this! Great thread!
