I bought CoD4 last year during a sale because I heard how good the MP is. After playing for an hour and getting disgusted at how it's nothing more than an arcadey insta-gibbing grenade spamming mess I requested a refund saying I've only played it for an hour and I'll never play it again. They said no and all sales are final.
That's not true. I bought some mlb game and it was broken for the first 3 weeks it had an incompatibles with win7 and would not load up. This was not just me, anyone with win7 64 bit could not play the game. They refused to give refunds for that and threatened me with closing my account if I issued a charge back with my cc company. I had a lawyer(dads friend)draft up a letter explaining that if they followed through and closed my account for anything he would file suit. I had a some games I bought through paypal get disputed from paypal and evga free game codes get removed and not once have they closed or attempted to close my account.
Legally there is nothing in there TOS that says they can close your account for disputing charges or refunds. They have a huge section on why they can close your account but chargebacks are not one of them.
