Will this PSU be enough? - Page 2

Don't get that motherboard. It has weak 4+1 pwr phases for the CPU.
And the PSU will be fine. XFX is very good quality.

600w in same price range, not as good quality as the XFX but still good. And whoever suggested a 'raidmax' PSU needs to get their headchecked

What's your budget?

You can't spend $5 more and get the 500w?

My vote goes to
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817371035

This is the best PSU you will find at the cheap price range.

Corsair CX series is not a good build quality AT ALL. Do not get that. I'm not sure about XFX PSU myself.

Plus. Make sure your 12 rail can handle within a few Amps of what AMDs rating is for that graphics card.

EDIT:

thanks to Phaedrus2129 for the bomb info.

check his info out on PSUs then pick the best you think you can get. I wouldn't go below 500w or quality 450w

The original XFX Core Edition 450W should be the best PSU posted in the thread so far, though the Earthwatts Green 500D is also good. Components and performance are both good for the price for the XFX unit.

jonnyguru found some strange voltage regulation issues (2nd link), but under more realistic computer power draws in terms of +12V/5V/3.3V distribution (3rd link), the results were very good.

Well just "downgraded" to some open box items and now have an extra 50$ to spend on a PSU on top of ny origonal cost of 40$, if i chose to not buy another PSU i would have 40$ to spend on other parts, but im quite content with all my parts so i think im just going to get a new PSU, hows this one look. Its my personal favorite out of any PSU ive ever seen and i know its > corsair but how is its' price/performance look?
