[Engadget] Qualcomm's 1.5GHz MSM8660 Destroys the Competition - Page 4

I literally just got my ThunderBolt today....but I don't need to upgrade. Still getting use to a functional phone and network after my Tilt2 on AT&T. 20Mbps up & down on a phone makes it seem so much faster, then just having the new 8655 1GHz snapdragon.

Maybe I'll just overclock a little when the TunderBolt starts to feel slow...

Definitely having LTE right now will future proof you for quite a while

Just root and put a tweaked Android on there and maybe OC a bit, you'll be golden

http://goo.gl/6H6MT has more charts for SoC comparison. But my main question is that will this chip last long? As more dual core phones come out and become the norm, more programmers will optimize their coding for dual cores and up.

They put in the request to purchase. The offer is on the table and has to be reviewed by the government regulatory committees in order assure the public spectrum is kept competitive. Will be approximately 1 year until all the paperwork is done.
