Advice about fittings... - Page 3

If your using compression fittings there isn't a whole lot to be gained from using 7/16" tubing, which I guess is why they are comparatively rare. You're swapping out all your fittings anyway so for the few $ it cost may as well swap to 1/2" tube.

I Have 2 koolance quick releases in my loop I think using them on every component would be too restrictive but in my case I use them to make the whole system really easy to empty in a mess/risk free way. Coupled with compression fittings you should be relatively flexible to swap parts in and out.

Good info guys, thanks a lot. Yeah I may opt for 1/2" tubing. I have the 800D so there is plenty of space; I'm not too concerned about getting the tubing to route where I need it. Besides, using the tubing in conjunction with 45 and 90 degree fittings, and even rotary fittings, the tubing could have more freedom to bend how it wants. I'm psyched to get this going haha. Maybe I'll make up a build log for this.
