It's an MSI X58 Pro and C0 i7 920 clocked to 3.4ghz. The GTX260's are default speeds. I've run OCCT Linpack test for 2 hours with these BIOS settings so it should be stable for more than 15 min of gaming. I have no issues when I run the 266.58 driver either, playing BulletStorm or Dead Space for an hour or more.......or it could have been a fluke. I'll be trying the released version when it is available.

This crash, where the screen froze and locked the system, in BulletStorm only happened once, right after I upgraded the driver. That seems to suggest that the driver had something to do with it.
Some of the things I did to get these drivers working "more" correctly.

Cleaned and reinstalled the Monitor driver, the drivers had the monitor listed as the output device, but under the device manager for the card itself, it was associated with "Generic PnP monitor", which of course led to some fun issues with refresh rates.

Cleaned and reinstalled the 15.45 WHQL nForce drivers, which were not properly associated with the 270.51 nInspector, I need this for my 980a mobo. Device manager had "co-processor" as missing a driver which caused me to look at this twice.

Removed/Cleaned and re-secured the SLi bridge, this was causing me no end of troubles with the new drivers, to such a degree the cable itself was "warm" to the touch. The drivers loosened up the transfer across this bridge. Taking the bridge off and putting it back on while the game was running caused some interesting flicker, but once reconnected it straightened itself out.

Clean install the drivers of course...

Re-tweaked the custom profiles for the games that were causing issues, some needed to have pre-render bumped back up, others benefited from dropping them down again.

Guru3d Profile editor import/export now work correctly, so custom modding the profiles is now possible again.

BFBC2 is smoother than it ever has been... Heaven 2.1 went from 940ish at 4x aa 16x as high/tess/dx11 1080p to 962~965, and Heaven 2.5 is in the 920's... all in all a solid performing driver, but it does it by seemingly loosening up some of the throughput from the card to the mobo, but after a couple goes with it now it reports as 16x rev 2 correctly and all the time... no weird 2d/3d clocking mismatches. It also seems to take more advantage of the cpu, cause my cards are loading 99~100% of the time in nearly everything... (which is another issue altogether in another post.)

These drivers are a headache, but are worth 5-10% bumps depending on what your doing... which on the min fps side, is really nice.

Most games run fine for me.
But ME2 or DS2 where flickering like they were under some spastic seizure.
DS2 I fixed by changing a few settings.
ME2 only under windows mode is playable.

So not every game is fine with the beta drivers.
That is why they are beta
