My first thought was the monitors. But you have freakin three of them! Sounds spensive. Im bout to move from a 19in 1280X1024 to a 23-27in 1080p here in the next few weeks, using tv as monitor right now.

A little bit to the left field, But I would say Mod your desk. I have always had an idea in my head of building a sort of 'H' frame behind the desk, so the speakers can be mounted on the 2 verticals, and the 3 screens mounted with Vesa arms onto the horizontal beam. That way you can then run your DVI, Speaker and power cables down the back of the frame, maybe even put a small hole in the center back of the desk to run your keyboard and mouse cables through. That way you will have a nice clean looking desk (without using stupid wireless keyboards/mice) and a talking point (if your into the wanky furniture thing)

I know the feeling of the upgrade itch.

I can tell you this, the single best purchase I have EVER made in regards to computers, in my ~18 years of owning, operating, and building computers, is my 30", 2560x1600 S-IPS panel monitor. It is a beast, games have NEVER looked better, and it actually puts my high end video cards to use. The quality of an S-IPS panel over a TN is huge, in my opinion, in fact when I had my old 20" S-IPS dell as a secondary monitor it made my new Samsung 26" 1920x1200 TN LCD look like garbage.

You could get some nice 1080P, 21.5-24in monitors for 200 apiece. Then sell off what you got, not a bad deal.

Have to agree on this one. The desk looks a bit aged, and I think a bit more real estate will make things more comfortable for you. Maybe something with a top level where you can put some of your gear? Of course, it depends if a bigger desk will actually fit in your space or not.
