hey im kinda new what goes to this forum and water cooling.

i has just finished building my water colling i did let it run over the nigth to make sure it dosent leak and stuff liket that and its not were my question is put,

i wantet to ask if its normal to have a cpu temp at 54 loaded on a i7 960 stock at 3,2

with a 3 x 120 radiator, EK surpreme HF, latin d5 pump and a 2 liter resovir,
my system is running out of my case as i did have two cases so its hving a case for it self and its own PSU and 1/2" tubing and atm artic silver matrix paste,

the thing there makes me think is its only 5 decres less then my air cooler v8 and i finde that wierd as its alot of money i did put into it.

and im also thinking of the further were im planing to get a water block for my GPU also as its running really hot,

as side note atm its only cooling my cpu

For stock your temps seem bad : / I'd expect to see that on a 4GHz OC, but not stock (or any chip at 3.2 for that matter).

I mean it depends on your ambient and such, but you may want to have a look at your waterblock seating.

You might want to also check for kinked tubing.

As a side note:

Rearranging the order of parts in the loop wont make any difference worth mentioning.

Edit:
When I added my GPU to my loop it increased my temps about 2-3oC (and dropped my GPU temps by about 60oC)

Means.........what is the temp of your room your rig is in ?

any pics will help to see if your also maybe getting pre heated air into the rad.

Are you sure you dont have air bubbles?

Possibly air trapped in the radiator. Try turning off the rig and moving/shaking the entire thing side to side.

The home made external box, especially the home made reservoir, is pretty ghetto, but I like it!

If you are having bubble trouble,

Try turning the system off and then remove the cpu block and rotating it 90 degrees so the water in pipe is at the bottom and the water out is at the top of the block to minimilize bubbles getting trapped in the cpu block,
