Ever Used Zagg Professional Installation?

Thread Starter
There's a Zagg Kiosk in my local mall that offers "professional" installation of Zagg screen protectors and such. I despise installing these things myself because I don't have the patience for it nor the apparent skill because I always wind up with air bubbles, lint, or other debris trapped under the film!

Anyhoot, has anyone here every used a Zagg Kiosk before for installation? If so, do they do a good job? Worth the extra $15 or whatever it is?

Depends what phone you have, most have gorilla glass now which I find is nearly impossible to do any damage to(my desire hasn't ever had a screen protector on it and it doesn't have a mark on it). Your choice though, if you have piece of mind having one on it, go for it.

I once paid Best Buy $8 to install my Zagg Invisible Shield. It took the guy 30 minutes and it came out pretty bad. I ended up removing and reapplying it myself and it looked much better.

Wet application screen protectors are pretty forgiving. It helps to apply them in a humid area (bathroom with the shower running so the steam will keep the dust down). Just make sure both your fingers and the backside of the shield are covered in that solution so fingerprints don't show and it's easy to make small adjustments. After it's lined up just right, spend 5 minutes with the credit card thing to squeeze out air bubbles and you are done. The key is to not be a perfectionist, the very tiny bubbles will go away on their own. Just focus on squeezing out the bigger ones.

I get all my devices protected at the zagg kiosk at the mall. I gave my brand new sealed ipad 2 to the guy,he was like "YOur not even gonna open it?", I just told him it was cool. He opened it, struck up some conversation and 30 minutes later it was done and looked great. I dont see how they could do damage, i mean, they use some microfiber and water.

Most phones have gorilla glass, there really isn't any need to protect it. If you have the force to damage gorilla glass...the screen would be screwed whether or not you had 5 zagg screen protectors on it.

true, but resale value is much higher when you have a quality screen protector. Plus I like the way it feels on my fingers.
