hey guys ive just built my new computer

spec list

CPU - Intel Core i5-2500K
Mobo - Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD4B3
Ram - G.Skill 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 Kit, PC-12800 (1600Mhz), Ripjaws X, 9-9-9-24-2N
Hardisk - Western Digital 1TB, Caviar Green
Case - Cooler Master HAF 932
GPU - Gigabyte Radeon HD6850 Overclocked
PSU - Antec 750W TruePower ATX
Cooler - Noctua NH-D14 CPU Cool

so far ive overclocked this rig to 4.8 ghz with a vcore of 1.375v with a max temp of 63c over 12 hrs of prime95 blend... pretty happy

Now...

i reset cmos to begin with a clean slate. set the multiplier to 45x and thats it everything else i have not touched.

i have run intel burn test on max. and the highest temp is 59c. seems to run like a dream, im doin a prime 95 run atm, so far its stable as..

im just wondering, if everything proves to be stable, is there anything to worry about when running eveything on auto @ 4,5 ghz???

sincerly,

Phil Magroin

You should be ok at those speeds, but make sure you watch your voltages, because the board you have lacks a little power in the VRM department.
