Need monitor suggestions for Eyefinity

I'd really love a monitor that you can turn vertically, like this one http://www.benq.com/products/product...tag=3&ptag=273

I heard that it isn't any good for gaming though, so might have to pass on this one. My budget is around $350 for each monitor, might be able to push it a little higher.

Thanks!

I looked at those and I think 27" is too big, I'd prefer 24". I'll certainly keep considering them though.

The Dell U2311H's are very popular choices, and rightfully so. When they go on sale, they can be had for around $250 for a single monitor. Having an e-IPS panel, you'll have good viewing angles so that you can orient them in almost any direction (and yes the stand does do Portrait mode) and still be able to see the picture clearly.

The smaller brother, the U2211H, is nearly identical in every way except being physically smaller at 22" (compared to the 23" that is the U2311H) and can be had for even less.

You can't go wrong with either one as they are backed by Dell's warranty support. If you find that the monitors are not for you, for whatever reason, you can ask for a full refund within the first 14 or 30 days.

They are on sale right now actually, I think I'll order two of these and get third one a bit later. They are quite a but more expensive in Norway though, have to dish out 400 USD for these babies (and that's on sale), but it's worth it I guess.

Thanks a lot!

You're welcome.

Before committing to the buy, try searching around for Dell coupons. They have them often enough that when combined you could reduce the price further. Some people have also had good luck calling them up and speaking to different reps to see if they can haggle a better deal. For the most part, you may need to try a few times, but you might get a rep that is nice enough to work with you if you are willing to go through the trouble.

Either way, I'm sure you'll be satisfied in the end.
