I will check them out. I don't want to tell the pricks over at GH that it is for an OCN keyboard. You should have seen the jealous flame threads floating around there when OCN announced these things. I'm not going to give them the ammunition.

Funny how both the GH community and the OCN comunity absolutely despise each other for very little reason.

Anyways, you dont need to participate in their doubleshot or the color lasered group buy. IMO, the process takes too long, and it takes too long to ship.

Cherry boards have double shots that you can salvage off of ebay.

If you mean this one then yeah, I've read through it. lol You know what they say.. haters gonna hate. It's all tongue-in-cheek sort of thing, though. Nothing to worry there.

I was just looking at some of the custom keys that are available for these switches, and it might be a good thing that I am going to switch them up. There are some really cool color/font combos out there.

Potentially expensive. See:
http://geekhack.org/showwiki.php?title=Island:6924

Basically, if you want a complete ANSI 104-key kit, you need to buy multiple boards.

You need this G81 and harvest the keys (the switches are junk so the rest of the board is useless)
http://cgi.ebay.com/Cherry-Keyboard-...item1c10ab69f6

However, the right shift, entire bottom row keys, Numpad 0 and +, and Capslock won't fit the Ducky.

So then you buy this G80-8113-2 for right shift, bottom row keys, and the numpad keys. Capslock still won't fit. However, it has Cherry MX Brown or Clear switches, so nice opportunity to try them.
http://cgi.ebay.com/REFURBISHED-CHER...item439cc17a8f

To top it off, you don't have windowed lock keys on the lock keys or some of the F-keys.

So ~$90+ later you have a decent set of double shot caps with a ton of spare/duplicate caps, along with a useless MY board and a decent board with Clears/Browns. You could potentially sell off the G80 and the extra caps for some money. Or you can join the Geekhack group buy and get a set of double shots for ~$50. Granted, they're worse than the Cherry set in terms of thickness and looks (Signature Plastic's font is ugly IMO), but it's quite a bit cheaper.
