Agree!

You should keep in mind that SB 2500k processor + mobo costs 33% more than AMD combo for multi-GPU. Can't justify paying that money for tiny difference.

i have a little to say, I have my HD4860 upgraded to 6950 a couple of month ago then I found something, you can looked at this

http://www.overclock.net/ati/963991-...d-oc-3-6g.html

make your CPU just adapt to GPU before talking about which is better

My eyes cannot tell the difference in those frame rates. Okay so you are faster than my eyes can actually see. Great. I guess the Alien behind me will appreciate that.

WoW: 74 on the AMD, 119 on the Intel.
Dawn of War: 54 on the AMD, 82 on the Intel.
DA:Origins: 109 on the AMD, 159 on the Intel.

The human eye or mind cannot distiquish the difference between 32 fps and 150. The human brain processes at the same speed no matter what your irrelivant frame rate is.

The difference isn't tiny. The difference is enormous.

25-50% faster. We're not talking about small beans here.

Enigma: You're trolling. This comment: But If I bought the INtel system that I wanted I would spend over 500.00 on the board and 999.00 on the processor and at that price I have already put myself in at 1499.00 and I haven't even bought the 12 Gigs of DDr3 2000 that I would want. Triple channel. That would be another 329.00. At this point I am at 1828.00 and the sound card that I want is 125. and the video card I want would be 269 at the least more like 500. for the new 560 Nvidia.
FUZZY MATH...." Says it all.

The human eye *can* determine 32 fps from 150, and unless you've got proof otherwise.. you know what they say.

If those numbers don't show you the difference in POTENTIAL between the two systems, you're in complete denial.

50% in multitasking! Not in gaming!

God, no one actually realizes that the gaming difference is less then minimal? I have asked too many people that moved from AMD to SB, and they noticed zero difference in games. So please don't tell me otherwise.

I just gave you proof the difference IS up to 50% in gaming.

In fact, it's so dramatic even the puny, 3.1ghz dual core sandy is faster than the Phenom II quads in games. http://www.anandtech.com/show/4083/t...2100-tested/20 ..In every single game on the list(except Fallout 3)

I understand that Intel is your cup of tea.. No conflict there.

But to answer your questions.

Ignorant is as ignorant does. Enough said.

You are right. If he wanted a INtel device he would be speaking to you.

You know.. I don't disagree with you about INtel. It is a fast and effeciant system. But If I bought the INtel system that I wanted I would spend over 500.00 on the board and 999.00 on the processor and at that price I have already put myself in at 1499.00 and I haven't even bought the 12 Gigs of DDr3 2000 that I would want. FUZZY MATH....

I think that since all the video games are making things for consoles that opinion is MUTE.

I have not noticed a single problem with my system.. No static at all.

I can't but this girl can.. Here. Listen to her and she will explain everything perfectly.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6bMLrA_0O5I
haha, ok? I have owned 2(read this number over and over again) Intel systems. Probably 8 or 9 AMD systems... I bought my i3/1156 board because I was bored with AMD. I bought the board and CPU with the money I had after returning my 2500k.

I'm waiting on Bulldozer to make a major upgrade(although I don't think I need to this year). This guy is starting from scratch, which is why I recommended what is better RIGHT NOW.

If you don't think Crossfire is more problematic then just running a single card you have no business recommending anything to anyone in a computer hardware forum.

But anyways, this guys thread is ruined. OP forget my recommendation. Do not become a fan boy because you want the best for your money. Buy something slower, as I assume AMD will house and feed your children, and make a donation to a just cause for sticking it out with them.

Phenom II is more better.

I can also show a benchmark in which the Phenom II outperforms the 2500k, so?

Landyzhu, what do you want? I don't have cake for you, come back tomorrow.
