So what I will do is make two lists and see what happens. If price is around the same I think I might go Intel, but I'm not sure :S

BTW thanks so much ajmidd12
Haha, don't worry this always happens when the intel boys get whiff of a new builder looking at AMD.

You will be happy with the 965BE I can assure you, maybe get 8GB's of RAM, and a decent 1-2GB GPU and you should be good to go.

PM me or others with any other questions.

Build within YOUR budget, if you can save yourself some money, go for it.

This. Besides, all the money you save over the Intel system can be applied to the GPU(s), which is where it counts anyway. It's like people arguing over what kind of tracks to build when the real important thing is what kind of train will be riding on them.

HD 6850, and if you are going to go with a SSD get at least a 120GB, this way you can run all your programs and OS off it.

The 60GB is good though if you just want to run the OS off it.

The biggest upgrade is to go with the better GPU as it will directly affect your gaming performance.

Haha, it's my pleasure. I know that if I didn't have a place like Overclocking.net to turn to for help I probably wouldn't be as comfortable with building computers, modding them, or overclocking as I am.

There are lots of very knowledgeable people here, you just have to look past the trolls sometimes.

Make sure you check out the Casemod Subforums for different ideas on how to "dress" up your computer and make it unique.

Also post us a build log when you finally piece everything together.

Let us know if you have any more questions.
